I am back from a brief hiatus centered around a rough week at work followed by a birthday weekend.
Sunday's New York Time had a great article on the 1963 Mississippi State basketball team that defied a segregationist governor to play in the NCAA tournament. This is a great story that is the subject of a new documentary "Game of Change".

Southern Miss Vs. Memphis (Memphis Wins)
Southern Miss. Vs. Memphis on CSTV at 3.
Check it out, i'll give my take after the game.
Update (after the game):
It was a really cool game. It stayed really close until the very end when Memphis scored 3, 3 pointers.
It started with an altercation between the Memphis team that was leaving the court and a Southern team that was going in the same way.
Southern started by scoring and stayed in the lead for a few minutes and never fell more that a half dozen points behind until the very end. It was good.
I'll get up a couple of pictures and a video of the altercation tomorrow. The final score was 76 to 67.
