Jim Payne is running for the 12th district which includes Oxford. He's had some difficulty with his signs disappearing and incorporates that into these humorous ads:
No Payne, No Gain / Know Payne, Know Gain
I wonder how long it took them to come up with that one :) I can't argue with it though, it's easy to remember.
The ads I saw in the DM (school newspaper) when I was in Oxford last weekend had it: "Know Payne, Known Gain." I guess it could go either way (no or know).
ReplyDeleteAbout the signs, I was surprised to see a good many in Oxford. Noal Akins is in his 1st term but is pretty well known.
Dr. Payne is also well known. He's the former Dean of the School of Education and carries more weight on that issue than Akins. He's running a winning campaign on top of that.
