He conveniently forgets that President Bush, (soon to be) Republican nominee John McCain, and longtime "conservative" Mississippi Senator Trent Lott all support some or all of the things he attacks Democrats for.
David Landrum has the money and the strategists so he may just win this district, but it won't be because he's the best or most honest man for the job.
David Landrum is one of the top two Republicans in the race according to polling data. Former State Senator, and Club for Growth supported candidate, Charlie Ross is the other.
David Landrum has a significant fundraising lead and higher cash on hand than his opponents.
What are the Mississippi Congressional and Senate candidates saying about Energy Policy, about the Environment?
ReplyDeleteAny supporters (or detractors) care to give us the low-down?
I sure would love to know.
Check out my blog - the New American Village - this week for a series on the presidential candidates’ positions on Energy and the Environment.

I wish people would quit attacking David Landrum. Just because he has come out of nowhere and gained a lot of momentum doesn't give others a reason to attack him. I have spoken with him on many occasions, and what he says makes a whole lot of sense--a lot more than most professional politicians do.
ReplyDeleteI think David is refreshing. There are too many lawyers, professional politicians, and bureaucrats running Washington. It is time we get some businessmen up there who can put this country on a budget and start actually using some conservative principles in government rather than just talking about doing so. I think David Landrum is the man to do it.
I've lost most of my respect for Landrum, quite frankly, now that he's jumped on the immigration issue. Charlie Ross is beginning to look like the least objectionable of the District 3 Republican candidates, and that's pretty sad.
