From The Sun Herald:
A U.S. senator who faces a tough election in Mississippi says he's voting against a proposed bailout plan for the financial markets.
Republican Roger Wicker says the plan, up for a vote Wednesday night, would put $700 billion of new debt onto taxpayers but would do "absolutely nothing" to prevent similar problems from happening again.
This is the smartest move Wicker ever made in his career. Although I can't trust him to keep his word forever... there is always his political expediency issues.
ReplyDeleteThe question is, how would Musgrove have voted on this bill. I bet political expediency would cause him TO vote for it.
I trust none of them... Dems or Thugs.
