Happy 47th birthday Senator Obama

  1. "Born Aug. 4, 1961, presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) starts Monday in Chicago and heads on his birthday to Michigan to talk about energy. He will outline his New Energy for America plan in a speech in Lansing, MI. Obama's plan will provide an immediate energy rebate to Americans struggling with high gas prices, create five million new green jobs, and eliminate our need for Middle Eastern oil in 10 years."

Happy birthday Senator. May your wish come true!

Jake: I didn't look to hard for the post but I know either you are John Leek are soliciting money to go to some sort of convention. I have some yard work that needs to be done and will pay you to do it. I'm really not kidding. I was thinking about it last night, and realized that simply saying "you guys should get a job" isn't the right way helping you. I'll pay $8 an hour and provide lunch, water and gatorade. I live the Jackson area.

Heck, I'll even work with you. We could debate in the hot sun.

  4. Good one RPP. I am not cutting your Mom's yard for you ;)

You know we don't get paid a dime for Cotton Mouth.

  5. Hold on, now- you didn't ask what he was offering for lunch. A day in his Mom's yard is a small price to pay for a good Lunchable!

  6. Not for nothing, but at 8 bucks an hour, he'd have to cut RPP's Mom's yard 4 times a day between now and the convention to earn enough green.

I own my own home. I pay somebody to cut the grass. That is their job. I am offering you an opportunity to weed my front flower bed, spread some mulch, and weed around 6 trees in my backyard at 8 dollars an hour. I'll buy McAllisters and have Gatorade and Water available. I'll even work out there with you, to prove the point that this 1) isn't a joke, and 2) I am not intentionally doing anything cruel. The work is enough to keep you busy 6 hours (I'll guarantee I keep you busy 6 hours), and if you finish in one day, I'll throw in a $25 bonus each. If you don't finish it, I will the next day. I'm real serious, if you two are, say so, I'll email you, we'll set a date.

After spending a day at my house, meeting my family, and visiting with me, I believe both of you will think differently of RPP (I am going to ask that you respect my anonymity on the internet). You might actually see that not all conservatives were born with trustfunds and some work for their living.

  9. RPP, while your offer is respectable. I must decline. I too work for a living, albeit in the public sector. Do the google and see how much I am having to spend for 5 nights in Denver as well as plane flight. I am asking for a little charity to help me provide you with Cotton Mouth coverage of the DNCC. By asking for help with the plane ticket, I am absorbing 75% of the cost of the entire trip.

If I have to eat it all, I will for the love of the game. I spend two to three hours a day on this blog and neither ask for nor receive anything in return.

    Cut your own $%#& grass.

    but wait...

I spend two to three hours a day on this blog and neither ask for nor receive anything in return.

The offer stands for any Cottonmouth blogger that wants some extra money. I will put the cash in an envelope and mail it to moveon.org or the liberal group of your choice.

  11. RPP, I give up, you win. Don't donate, you were never required to anyway. I am laying out a months salary to make this trip. Anyone who wants to help, please donate.

Anyone else who might be interested in trimming RPP's lawn contact him, he needs help and is in the giving mood apparently to like minded individuals.

  12. I'd take you up on that RPP if I lived anywhere near jackson. It'd cost be more than $50 round trip to drive so it's a no go. ;)
