"As Sen. Roger Wicker (R) continues to air a series of campaign ads in central and Gulf Coast Mississippi this month, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is going up on television in the Magnolia state beginning today.
The DSCC television purchases in Mississippi means the party will be on the air in the Magnolia State ahead of the Democratic Senate nominee, former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove, who has yet to buy television ads in the special Senate election."
Swing State Project
Roger Wicker has been on the air in South Mississippi for more than a month painting himself falsely as a champion of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
I think it’s only a 15sec ad. The only thing it said is Ronnie didnt raise taxes during his term.
ReplyDeleteOK, well they failed to mention his $720 million shortfall he left for Haley to deal with and the Beef Plant. I still don’t understand how he can call himself fiscally conservative.
A 15 second ad? That'd be unusual. You saw it in Jackson?
ReplyDeleteIt is required by Mississippi law that the budget be balanced. Ronnie, like Barbour, used one time funds.
He only signed a bill that almost the entire legislature supported and those involved in the boondoggle on the corporate end have passed lie detecter tests agreeing that donations were not tied to agreed action.
The AD is illegal too. Cant have Ronnie in the AD what so ever and there he is sitting on a bench. The DSC might have some explaining to do on this one.
ReplyDeleteLie detector test? Hmmm, that’s the first I've heard of that. It clearly points to a pay for play deal.
I guess Ronnie broke the law or didnt follow the budget. So, if he balanced the budget, explain the $720 million shortfall.
It's Haley's favorite talking point followed ever so closely by hitchin' up our collective britches.
