Howard Dean Coming To Mississippi

From an e-mail: "Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean will be in Jackson on Friday evening for a rally scheduled for 6 p.m at Tougaloo College."

I've now got it from a reliable source. If you have any additional details please let us know. We'll update as details become available.

  1. If true, I will be there with bells on. To anyone who truly understands the magnitude of the impact of the 50 state strategy, Howard Dean is the man!

  3. Too bad Howard Dean has no clue what Mississippi values are and what they mean to Mississippians.
It’s disturbing to hear you two believe he is the "Man." It’s sad that Democrats in Mississippi support to the national party's so called values.

Is this what Democrats in Mississippi value?

"Today, on behalf of Democrats across America, we join together in celebrating the contributions that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans and their families make to our society and reaffirm our Party's commitment to promoting full equality under the law for every American. These are our country's and our Party's core values."

Not in Mississippi Howard, but I'm sure the state party will embrace you anyway. Like they have a choice.

  4. Most Democrats support civil rights for all.

Those that don't will likely come to see what is right.

Mistreating folks isn't right and I hope you didn't assume we'd agree with a position respecting all.

If you look at Howard Dean there's a lot for even conservatives to like... if you're willing to look.

  5. I believe I was referring to the 50-state stategy with my praise Chuck.

It is sad to see you Republicans still fighting the civil rights issue.

    Dean is the man!
