Barbour's New Ad "From Day One" (Haley Was Screwing Us)

"from day one Haley Barbour has worked for all of us"

That is unless you have kids who might start smoking, need healthcare, care about ethics, or even eat.

"doubled workforce training"

I wonder how much of that is specific to Katrina and then how many of those programs Barbour actually had much of a hand in.

"i want people to look at my record" (over a billion wasted dollars, thousands in FEMA trailers, communities struggling, vetoed ethics and anti-tobacco legislation, family members profiting, etc.)

Well good, I look forward to covering it in the coming months. It sure ain't sunshine and lollipops.

  1. NBC news looked at the Coast recently in this news clip.

Sure the Casinos are doing well, but what about everything else?

  2. How was money wasted in FEMA trailers? People still live in some of those trailers, don't they? The coast seems to be doing much better than other coasts and cities, right? I looked on the US dept of labor site and the numbers and graphs don't lie about the job trend in Mississippi, despite Katrina. Take a look, am I wrong? Is the ethics committee eithical? Is Jim and his brother together, trying to bring down the Gov? What kind of family publicity stunt is that? Is their someone in the state better qualified than Haley Barbour and if so who? If NBC news says that, then the coast must be doing well, they hate conservatives. They can't cover every corner nor can the Gov. make everyone happy. Where would you rather be, Louisiana or Mississippi? Which state is doing better? Why? Is it leadership? If not, then what is it?
