Wicker hopes to ride anti-Obama vote

Roger Wicker is hoping that the white folks of Mississippi won't vote for a black man. Wicker thinks they will show up in record numbers not to vote for a candidate but against Obama, as well as pulling the lever for good ole Rubber Stamp Roger. Roger knows the reality of Mississippi being in play, not just in his Senate race, but in the BIG one. Wicker also sees the record black turnout coming at him. Roger sees the Obama win in the last poll in the under 40 demographic.

We are on the cusp of the days where the bigot vote being a force in Mississippi have drawn to a close. We can win both of these races as well as preserve the Childers seat. It is all within our reach. Register everyone you know to vote that is on board. Press your friends, make sure, and pick them up and take them to the polls if necessary. This is serious. Blue Mississippi!!

But Linda Fowler, a government professor at Dartmouth College, said that Obama’s appeal to black voters could give GOP incumbents like Sens. Elizabeth Dole (N.C.) and Roger Wicker (Miss.) a tough time.

“I think there’ll be heavy turnout of both Democrats and Republicans because of the presence of Obama,” Wicker said. His state’s March 11 Democratic primary turned out more than 411,000, with Obama taking 62 percent of the vote.

Keep this clown out of the Senate, please...
