Stennis-Montgomery Association and Stennis Institute of Government To Host Debates

I don't know if any of the candidates have confirmed, but all the candidates for the open District 3 seat have been invited.

  1. Does anyone know who is preparing the questions or if there will be an open question time. I think something like this would make an excellent question:

    As you should all be aware, we have more than 30,000 Mississippians still living in toxic FEMA trailers because we haven't re-built enough housing for them. That's more people than the populations of many of our medium-sized towns. The governor himself has stated that we've allocated nearly $4 billion in recovery funds for housing-related programs, but only about $720 million is going toward affordable housing. If elected, what will you do to see that this issue is addressed sooner rather than later, so that these people can have a decent place to raise their families and pursue the American dream?
