DSCC ad "Right"

I am trying to get all of the Musgrove ads posted on here for everyone to see. This one was released this week. I hope I do not repeat an ad, but it might happen.

  1. As an Iraq War veteran, I find this ad despicable. I've seen these so called "votes" posted on the DSCC websites, and they are all procedural votes that have nothing to do with the actual substance of these bills. Before you buy this crap, think about this. Is Ronnie a vet? NO. Is Roger a vet? YES. He is a retired Lt. Col. in the Air Force. I think if the question is who will work the hardest for vets, I'd bet with a fellow veteran any day. Not to mention that as the ranking Republican on the House Veteran's Affairs committee he helped push through the largest increase in VA funding EVER. VA funding is the most important issue to veterans, period. Procedural votes always get abused during elections, but it is detestable that Ronnie would use such a tactic to distort Roger's record on veteran's issues when Roger is himself, a vet. Same goes with him running around always talking about how his oldest "son" just got back from Iraq. The same son that just became a part of his family within the last year or so when he got re-married. I'm not saying that a step-son going to Iraq is not a something to be proud of, but the way Ronnie allows his audience to think he is referring to a blood relative, combined with this ad, just makes me think that he doesn't mind shamelessly exploiting veterans, and issues that are important to them, for political gain.
