John McCain held a town hall meeting in Baton Rouge today where he faced tough questions surrounding his votes on Katrina. Senator McCain seems to have developed selective memory recall. Maybe someone needs to remind him of his abysmal voting record.
At one point a reporter asked why he “voted twice against the creation of a commission to investigate the levee failures in New Orleans.”
Straight Talk Express? Nope, just same old same old.

McCain: I’ve supported every investigation and ways of finding out what caused the tragedy. I’ve been here to New Orleans. I’ve met with people on the ground. I’ve met with the governor. I’m not familiar with exactly what you said, but I’ve been as active as anybody in efforts to restore the city.He must not remember this vote in 2005 or this vote in 2006.

McCain's smiles during his green-screen speech were awkward and a little creepy. I hope Obama agrees to the town hall meetings that McCain has proposed. Obama will wipe the floor with McCain.
