I say "currently" because Democrats have so many great candidates this year that I'd be perfectly happy with most of them.
Happy Thanksgiving. Posting will be sporadic through the Thanksgiving holiday because I will be enjoying some quality time with the family as I hope you will too.
He needs to drop out already. He's splitting the Clinton opposition from Obama and costing him what could be decisive support. This is a two-horse race, and Edwards ain't one of them.
He is still the leader among folks who have caucused at least once before. Half of Hillary's support is from folks who say they'll go the caucuses, but never have before. + the caucuses are on a Thursday in January. (The 3rd)
He's the most progressive of the candidates and would stand up strongest for America's workers. I for one am glad he's in.
Kucinich, Biden, Dodd, and depending on how hard I want to argue, Obama, are all ahead of him in that category. If you mean populist, then you're on the right track.
Ah yes... "Pretty Boy" Edwards, Bill Minor's favorite candidate. In the unlikely event that Edwards-- that great friend of the downtrodden poor-- becomes president, he'll have to move into a smaller house.
Personally, I'm hoping for a Kucinich-Gravel Democratic ticket. Dennis the Menace would put Air Force One in mothballs and travel by UFO instead.

As the candidate I see most concerned with progress for Americas workers.
ReplyDeleteHow so on Obama?
(keeping in mind that I like them both)
If we want to take the fight to them like they did to us with Reagan, Edwards is our man.
