ReplyDeleteWhile I hold no love for Spell, (in fact I support Phillips), Lester Spell was NOT the mastermind behind the Beef Plant...It is a matter of Public record that the masterminds behind the scam was McCoy and Boss Holland...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you got this story wrong by accident, you wouldnt have made such a CRITICAL mistake on purpose would you?
Especially since it has been printed in EVERY newspaper in this state (including the D. Journal) who is DIRECTLY responsible for that $55 million dollar scam.
Holland HIMSELF is even on record and quoted saying that he "Birthed the (scam) with Billy McCoy on their trips on the Nachez Trace"...
ALSO, I hope you would be so kind as to print the truth when it comes to 'who had the authority to steal' from us...
Lester Spell could not and DID not have the AUTHORITY (in fact he didnt even have a singe vote), to steal a single penny...
Holland DID!
Between Spell & Holand, only Holland had the Legislative authority to take the money & run!
This scam is all a matter of PUBLIC record now... so It would be very clearly equally as dishonest to misrepresent it on purpose... especially since people now know the truth...
So, yes, I am sure you misrepresented this story by accident. NO ONE would be foolish enough or dishonest enough to do this on purpose...

I believe that Everett is a fanatic. I am a liberal, but I don't agree with anyone being a fanatic to the left or a fanatic to the right.

Lester Spell can not win against Rickey Cole!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Cole will serve the state well and a lot of Republicans won't be able to stomach Mr. Spell's cocky answers for the beef plant.
In Jackson there is a Malcolm McMillin who is the sheriff and he's up for re-election. Both Dems and Republicans vote for Malcolm, and I believe that Mr. Cole will be so good at the job that he will win the respect of both parties.
I was sad to hear about everett's child being in a burning accident.
ReplyDeleteI wish his family well. Dem or Republican, we are all people who want to change our little part of the world.
Everett will see as he grows in MS Politics, that we can be on different sides and still have respect for each other as people.
