Barbour ally Leland Speed is attacking Jim Hood's attempt at getting justice for thousands of Mississippians.
He says that by suing State Farm and others for failing to fulfill their contracts that Hood is creating a bad business environment.
Well, Mr. Speed, if you want to send the message to companies that Mississippians will just roll over and take it when they are taken by unethical and unscrupulous businesses, then I'm sure that might attract some companies.
The companies that would be attracted by a state with lax regulation and little enforcement are NOT the kind of companies we want.
As you put out the welcome mat for the tricksters, grafters, cheats, and opportunists, I for one am glad that we have an Attorney General who serves and protects.
