The boys at Swing State Project sum it up as:
The expenditures include a $63,000 media buy against Greg Davis, $30,000 on direct mail, and $4000 on field organizing for Travis Childers.
So far, the DCCC has spent a whopping $1,389,318 in this district to the NRCC's $982,600.
Have we seen any of this advertising yet?
ReplyDeleteI would say no, this is for future advertising, or possibly buying more airtime for current buys that polls say are working.
ReplyDeleteChilders said tonight in Ponotoc that internal polls had him with a 4 point lead.
I haven't seen a DCCC ad yet (online). I'm not in the district, but from what I've seen he needs the help. Why buy space and then not use it?
ReplyDeleteThis was the first DCCC ad, but the new one is better. Just haven't gotten it online yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitch. I wish I could say I meant since after the special, but they really just sliped my mind.
ReplyDeleteSo you're saying they're on the radio, but not TV?
No John, they're all over the TV.
ReplyDeleteI don't listen to the radio....
John: I've got 1 of 2 of those TV ads up at The Thorn Papers, with the second coming shortly. Check 'em out.
ReplyDeleteMitch, your link is mis-typed.
ReplyDeleteDoh! Not enough sleep, too much work.
ReplyDeleteThis one should work: The Thorn Papers
Thanks Robert.
