The Commercial Appeal's special election preview article came out early this morning. It was fairly standard but this one Greg Davis quote caught my eye.
Davis told several hundred at the Civic Center rally, "Thanks for being here on the eve of the historic election. Voters have a choice. They can vote for my opponent's party that has the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and John Kerry, all liberals with liberal ideas..."You know, it is not like the last eight years of Republican rule have been a bed of roses there Greg. The man you brought in to campaign for you today is a principal architect of the failed policies of the current administration. I don't think people are too scared about Pelosi or Obama, they just don't want Dick Cheney or any his cronies anywhere near Washington. Today the GOP will learn a painful lesson. The days of the politics of fear and division are drawing to a thankful close in Mississippi.
About to step out for a day's worth of volunteering. This one is going to be fun.

I think what Greg wanted to say was "Boogie Boogie! Boogie Boogie Boogie!!"

I'll give You fear: the liberal way. Force Global warming religion on all, make it final, no more studying it, just end discussion and dissent,brainwash children and adults that it is our fault. Make those who commit sin, (smoke, eat..)feel guilty, be taxed and hated.Socialize medicine, Higher taxes, more bigger govt that already don't work, that already will take centuries to fix the mess. Educate everychild in Africa birth through college- she didn't say how to pay for it.Obama and Wright and the weathermen, devotion to Sol Alinsky marxism. Read his writings and you might even dare to question the flavor of your koolaid. Oh and our brave soilders coming home waving white flag. Oh and Obama believes he is saved and a Christian, but also believes his mother, an atheist was saved. That mooselims are saved just like good people are saved, Im ok, your ok, if it works for you I like it religion. We do not worship the same God. No man cometh unto the father but by Jesus.
