"He is an advocate for our men and women in uniform and a champion of modernizing our health care system..," President Bush said in a statement Monday afternoon. This guys has never been wrong before has he?
Seriously now. While that may sound good, let's understand what it really is. According to Bush, Wicker is an advocate for our military. That is why he votes to leave our men and women in uniform over in Iraq, many of them on their second or third tour. Wicker has not "supported" our military. He has supported and hence enabled George W. Bush in the crippling of our armed forces. And if Wicker was for modernizing our health care he would not vote with the pharmaceutical, medical, and insurance lobbies over and over. But then again, that is all "Rubber Stamp Roger" knows how to do.
Let's get all of these clowns out of Washington. Ronnie Musgrove needs and deserves our help and support.
What do you expect?
ReplyDeleteI don't really expect anything more than a puppet. But, I really don't want another puppet.
ReplyDeleteYou dont think Musgrove will do the same? What about the Farm Bill that Thad and Roger voted for? They sure werent on board with the White House on that one.
ReplyDeleteFor once in their career they weren't on board with something Bush said.
ReplyDeleteI'll admit, there is part of me that wishes Musgrove would be a puppet for the party, but he's not going to be. He wasn't exactly a puppet when he was governor.
Thats the truth. He ticked off a lot of people while being Gov. Staff and former friends.
ReplyDeleteWashington is a funny place and people will do things to gain power. If Ronnie acts the way he did as Lt. Gov and Gov in Washington, he will be right in the thick of Democrat wants and needs.
Wickers voting record would be one of the most partisan in Congress. I will work up some numbers for a different post. He has voted against the interests of Mississippians and with those of Big Oil, Big Pharma, etc...
ReplyDeleteThe voting record speaks for itself. If you support the status quo vote for Roger, he has supported just about every measure pushed by the White House. In my opinion this election is a referendum on the Republican administration, especially considering he has been "Rubber Stamp Roger" upon his arrival in Washington in 1994. If you want change vote for Ronnie Musgrove.
Change? The only thing that will change is Ronnie's zip code and him moving his failed policy experience to Washington.
